Hematology malignant diseases such as Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma are serious illnesses. The estimated number of new cases of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), according to the report by WHO in 2014, is 1-2/100k people annually. Without diagnostics and treatment with targeted drugs, most CML patients with acute Leukemia would only live a few months. Targeted therapy for CML patients in early-stage with a positive response could reach life expectancy up to 10 years more. In diagnostics and analysis of hematology malignant, according to WHO classification standard, cytogenetic tests such as karyotyping of the chromosomes image of the bone marrow cells and Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) act an important role. In this talk, I would like to present the background of the hematology malignant diseases, chromosomal abnormality analysis procedure using karyotyping and FISH techniques. However, the results often prolong to 7-10 days because the current technology requires a lot of manual techniques, which results in delayed therapy treatment. Therefore, automatization in image analysis procedure in karyotyping and FISH is necessary for early diagnostics and treatment of the hematology malignant diseases.
