Distinguished Lecture by Prof. Mérouane Debbah (Huawei France Research Center, France), Breakthrough Research: From Innovation to Invention

Prof. Merouane Debbah, Vice-President of Huawei France Research Center, jointly the director of the Lagrange Mathematical and Computing Research Center as well as the director of the Mathematical and Algorithmic Sciences Lab, international advisor of AVITECH, will talk about breakthrough research, focusing on Mathematics and Algorithms for Information and Communication Technology (ICT). He will in particular explain the various research domains, going from business-driven to technology-driven and, more recently, innovation-driven research. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session.
